Houston Weather: Storms

Houston Weather: Storms - Today, it's cloudy and cool. Yesterday it was partly cloudy and muggy. We've got rain on the way later today and Wednesday. It's nuts. The good news is that the rain we get over the next couple of days should be fairly substantial, further helping the area recover from the crippling drought we've suffered over the last year. Additionally, things will cool down quite a bit and be downright pleasant for the weekend, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. But, for those who had gotten used to the same old same old, particularly last summer, or for anyone who hasn't been here long, these crazy changes are the norm this time of year. If you hadn't noticed, most of us along the Gulf Coast don't have what you might call "seasons," at least not by the colored foliage, snow blind standards of our northern neighbors. It is not uncommon for the city of Houston to have wild changes to our weather. Think of our city's weather as permanently menopausal. It's how we roll. Houston Weather: Storms
